Cincinnati Insurance Company Claims

Amica who?

In the ninth year of the study performed by J.D. Power and associates, Amica Mutual won the award for highest ranked homeowners insurance company for the eighth consecutive year.

The rankings are based on factors of policy offerings, price, billing and payment, interaction, and claims.

Amica received the highest possible rating of “5” in all five categories listed on the score sheet which are named slightly differently than the categories listed in the report. The scoring categories are listed as policy offerings, price, billing and payment, contacting the insurer and overall experience. We are left to assume that “contacting the insurer” is the same as or part of “interaction” and that “overall experience” includes or is part of “claims.”

Either way, Amica Mutual hit a home run. And, with this being their eighth such honor, it would be hard to call it a fluke.

The only other that received perfect marks was USAA. They were not eligible for the award however, since they only offer their services to the U.S. military and families thereof. Check Internet #1 Cincinnati Insurance Company Claims right now!

Other high scorers included State F., Erie and Auto-Owners. All of these insurance companies received marks of no less than “4” in any one category. State F is often considered to be the “best of the biggest.” The Erie score, however, is a bit surprising.

The Hartford and Automobile Club of Southern California (ACSC) were highly ranked as well, receiving only one “3,” the rest being higher. We expected The Hartford score to be higher.

There were a plethora of insurance companies that scored average results or slightly better. These companies include Shelter, Safeco, Nationwide, Met Life, Liberty Mutual, Farmers, Encompass, Country, Cincinnati Insurance, Chubb, California State Automobile Association (CSAA), Automobile Club Group, American National Property & Casualty (ANPAC), American Family, Allstate, and Alfa.

Scoring poorly were Travelers, The Hanover, Fireman’s Fund, and AIG, Travelers and AIG being the worst of the worst.

Also mentioned in the report was that customer satisfaction among consumers toward homeowners insurance companies is up from last year and that consumers that bundle their policies tend to be more satisfied with their homeowners insurance provider than others.
